Sizes are approximate and assume a ceiling height of about 2,4 m. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one so you can walk in and reach everything.

What comes with your unit

Each unit is individually numbered and closed with its own roller-shutter door.

Box shop at reception
Boxes, tape, bubble wrap and protective packaging are on sale when you arrive.
Free move-in trailer
A trailer is available to help you move your belongings in.

Drive into the building to load and unload. Maximum vehicle height 2,1 m and maximum weight 2,5 tons.

Questions people ask before booking
How much does a unit cost?
The monthly rental depends on the size of unit you take. Send an enquiry or call 011 465 1963 and we will quote you on what is available. It helps if you tell us roughly what you are storing and when you need the space.
How do I know what size I need?
Start with the size guide above, then use the space calculator to estimate the volume of your belongings. If you are unsure, call us with a rough list and we will suggest a size. Taking one size up is usually cheaper than renting a second unit later.
What are the rental terms?
Contact the Cedar Square team for the current rental terms, including the minimum rental period, deposit, notice period, insurance requirements and the documents needed to sign up. We will confirm these with your quote before you book.
When can I access my unit?
Every day between 07h00 and 19h00. Our office and box shop are open Monday to Friday 09h00 to 16h30 and Saturday 09h00 to 12h00. After-hours access is by prior arrangement.
Can I drive a bakkie or truck into the building?
Yes, within the entrance limits of 2,1 m height and 2,5 tons. Larger vehicles need to unload at the entrance. Call ahead if you are arriving with a moving truck so we can advise on access.
Do you help with moving?
A free move-in trailer is available to help you transport your belongings, and we can refer you to a moving company for packing and transport.
Can a business store stock or documents here?
Yes. Businesses use the facility for stock, equipment, archive boxes and seasonal items. Tell us what you are storing and how often you need to reach it, and we will suggest a unit close to the entrance where that helps.
What may not be stored?
For the safety of everyone using the facility, please do not store:
- Flammable liquids, fuels, gas cylinders or explosives
- Hazardous, toxic or corrosive chemicals
- Illegal goods, drugs or stolen property
- Firearms, ammunition or other weapons
- Fresh food, perishables or anything likely to attract pests
- Live animals or plants
- Waste, rubbish or anything that may leak, smell or cause damage
- Anything dangerous, unlawful or likely to create a risk to the facility or other customers
If you are unsure about an item, ask the Storage Hub team before moving it in.
Notice for The Buzz customers
The Buzz Shopping Centre has terminated the Storage Hub lease for planned renovations. All units at The Buzz must be vacated by 30/09/2026. The facility will be deconstructed as customers move out and the site is expected to be cleared by mid-October 2026.
If you store with us at The Buzz, contact the team to arrange your move-out or to move your goods to Cedar Square. We have arranged a discounted rate with a transport company for affected customers — ask us for the details.
